Welcome to Nigel who is the new caretaker landlord of the Swan. Nigel has already made an impression with the real ale and lager drinkers who say he has “Well kept casks and real ale.”

He is a welcoming, good host who does not agree with kareoke and televison in pubs. Unfortunately there is no chance of food as the kitchen needs to be renovated but he hopes to put on soup and sandwiches for walkers some time in the future.

You will certainly notice that it’s getting back on the road to how it used to be when Dave and Barbara had it. He would like to bring back the snug in the back room. There’s a long way to go yet but general opinion seems to be Nigel knows what he’s doing.
