Her Grace, Duchess of Northumberland, Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland will open the Festival at 10.30 am on Saturday 2nd June.

Visitors to the Festival can browse the twenty floral arrangements to the sound of the organ playing gently and a programme of music by local musicians.

This is a true village event with local businesses sponsoring the floral arrangements and village people acting as hosts in the church and baking for the refreshments which will be available continuously throughout the weekend.

There is an added attraction on Saturday evening at 7.00 pm when the local choir “Village Voices” are entertaining their audience to a programme of light music. A popular event when you can listen to music surrounded by the flowers. Entry is £5 which will include wine and cheese.

Building on the huge success of last year, when many favourable comments were made about the quality of the arrangements this festival is shaping up to be an event not to be missed.
